About SlashGit
Welcome to SlashGit. We are a platform dedicated to providing high-quality, instant, and privacy-first tools for developers, creators, and everyday internet users.
Our Mission
The internet is full of utility websites, but far too many of them require you to create an account, pay for a subscription, or upload your sensitive data to mysterious third-party servers. We wanted to build something better.
At SlashGit, our mission is simple: Build tools that just work. We focus on delivering a seamless user experience with zero friction. No sign-ups, no hidden paywalls, and no unnecessary server round-trips.
Privacy by Design
We believe your data belongs to you. That is why the vast majority of our toolsโfrom our JSON Formatter to our JWT Decoder and Zen Notepadโare designed to run entirely on the client-side. This means your data is processed directly inside your own web browser and is never transmitted to or stored on our servers.
When you use SlashGit, you can be confident that your information remains secure and private.
Who is this for?
While many of our core tools (like the API Tester and Regex Tester) are built specifically with software developers in mind, we also offer a wide range of general utilities like the File Transfer system, Invoice Generator, and EMI Calculator. Whether you are coding a new application, managing your personal finances, or just looking to play a quick browser game to unwind, SlashGit has something for you.
Editorial content & documentation
Beyond one-click utilities, SlashGit maintains an Information Centre of original technical articles. Topics include developer tooling comparisons, email deliverability setup, AI workflow guides, and infrastructure notes โ written for practitioners, not copied from generic content farms. Tool pages and game pages include how-to sections, FAQs, and usage tips so every URL delivers standalone value to readers and search engines.
When we add a feature (leaderboards, newsletter, suggested tools on doc pages), we document the behavior on the relevant page and update our Privacy Policy so users know what data is stored and why.
How SlashGit is funded
SlashGit is free to use with no premium tiers or paywalls. We do not display third-party advertisements on the site. Tools, games, and documentation are always fully accessible. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle analytics and cookies.

Contact & feedback
We read every message sent through the contact form. Feature requests, bug reports, and partnership inquiries are welcome at hello@slashgit.com. Suggest a tool on our request page. If you spot inaccurate documentation or a tool that needs a clearer guide, let us know โ quality content is an ongoing process, not a one-time launch checklist.
